Guest: Bruce Friedrich
Coffee has been a big part of Bruce Friedrich’s life. He ran a homeless shelter and soup kitchen in Washington DC from 1990 to 1996, where they would drive twice a week to all areas to serve coffee and sandwiches to homeless out of their van. Currently, Bruce is involved with The Good Food Institute in Washington DC as Co-Founder & Executive Director. We’ll learn about the Clean Meat movement, food innovation and about all the great things The Good Food Institute is doing. Since Bruce travels frequently, he says coffee cafes like Starbucks can provide good workspaces and good coffee, and are usually close to where he’s staying.
