When Dr. William Boegel and his wife Diane visited Guatemala for Dr. Will’s 50th birthday, their lives changed forever. As medical missionaries, they decided to buy a farm they visited to support the area’s children who were in much need of care and education. It has been more than ten years since Dr. Will and Diane co-founded Opal House, their organic farm with 1000 coffee trees and various fruits and vegetables to help the local children with their spiritual education, development of character and their medical care. With 15-20 children living at Opal House on the farm, Dr. Will and Diane try to respond to needs and very large problems by being a neighbor. It’s about living a life of service, helping the children of Guatemala.
